Structural Designer/Structural Engineer (Entry-Level or Mid-Level), Dutch speaking

Are you a hands-on structural, mechanical, or marine engineer with a passion for offshore challenges and heavy lift engineering? Join a leading player in the maritime and offshore engineering space and take your career to the next level.

About the Role

You’ll work on complex offshore decommissioning and conversion projects (FSOs, FPSOs, LNG barges and more), from concept through detailed design. As part of an agile in-house engineering team, you’ll dive into structural calculations, 3D modelling, and support project execution across multiple disciplines.

This role includes occasional travel to sites, clients, and suppliers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Structural design of offshore structures & equipment
• Perform FEA and local structural analyses (e.g. lift points, bolted connections)
• 2D/3D drafting using AutoCAD, Inventor, Tekla
• Collaborate with operations, projects, and P&A teams
• Define scope/specs for subcontractors and review their deliverables

What We're Looking For

• Around 4 years of experience in offshore/maritime structural design
• Degree in Mechanical, Naval Architecture, Offshore, or Civil/Coastal Engineering
• FEA experience for local structural issues
• Familiarity with heavy lift/marine operations
• Solid command of English, team mindset, and ability to work autonomously
