Job summary

Blue Lynx in the Netherlands is looking for a Structural Applications Engineer with a Civil or Structural Engineering background to support customers using advanced engineering analysis software. The role focuses on delivering guidance, modelling assistance, and Eurocode-based design input.

You will train users, help integrate software into engineering workflows, and bridge between customers and Product/R&D teams.

Qualifications

Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
Experience in structural engineering or engineering software support
Experience with structural software such as SCIA, RFEM, Tekla, Autodesk Robot, SAP2000, ETABS, MatrixFrame
Strong communication and customer‑oriented mindset
Ability to explain technical concepts to engineers and non‑engineers

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance and support to users of structural engineering software
Assist customers with modelling, analysis workflows, and Eurocode-based design questions
Troubleshoot technical issues related to software use and engineering applications
Deliver training sessions, webinars, demonstrations, and onboarding for new users
Support implementation of software into engineering workflows
Bridge between customers and Product/R&D teams
Gather user feedback and translate it into product improvement input
Develop deep expertise in structural software solutions and applications
