Job summary

Leiden Bio Science Park seeks a Senior Tender & Contracting Specialist to shape how commercial agreements, bids and tender processes are designed, executed and improved. You will lead end-to-end lifecycle management, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Regulatory teams to drive growth and excellence.

Fluent Dutch and English are required, with strong analytical skills and experience in MedTech or healthcare sectors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
Fluent in Dutch and English (C2) with strong communication skills.
Experience as Tender/Bid/Proposal Manager or in related commercial roles.
Strong analytical capabilities to translate data into actions.
Proven stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with business systems.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in MedTech, healthcare, pharma, or regulated industries (preferred).
Knowledge of Dutch healthcare procurement and tendering processes (preferred).
Experience with digital tools and process improvement initiatives (Power BI, SAP, Salesforce, CRM, CPQ, automation).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end tender, quotation, pricing, and contracting lifecycle.
Develop high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive proposals.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs.
Support offer development, discount analysis, proposal preparation, contract implementation, and price activation.
Serve as the trusted expert and advisor for tendering, contracting, pricing, and commercial operations.
Partner with commercial leaders and account teams to support customer strategies and complex negotiations.
Provide data-driven recommendations on commercial risks, opportunities, and performance.
Analyze tender outcomes, contract performance, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
Drive process simplification, digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and audit standards.
