Job summary

Lonza Oss is seeking a Senior Manager, supply chain and operations, to lead DAM Operations, overseeing inventory, forecasting, and logistics. The role focuses on reliable component supply to licensees while maintaining visibility on spend and revenue.

You will manage a small ops team and collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and program leads. Key activities include advancing supply plans, cost tracking, and SAP-related migrations, with a focus on automation and reporting quality.

Qualifications

• MSc or MBA in Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10 years in supply chain, planning, or operations in regulated industries.
• 3–5 years leading small operational teams.
• Proven supply chain, planning, and operational finance experience.
• Experience with financial reporting, inventory reconciliation, AP/AR processes.
• Ability to consolidate and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• SAP S/4HANA experience; strong Excel (Pivot, Power Query).
• Pharma/biotech experience preferred; automation/APIs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling 18-24 month supply plans for DAM components.
• Define inventory strategies to minimize shortages and excess stock.
• Lead the DAM Operations team (2 Logistics Specialists, 1 Business Analyst).
• Oversee compliant order fulfillment, import/export, and GDP processes.
• Develop Cost of Goods models and track manufacturing expenditure.
• Coordinate invoicing, budgeting, and inventory valuation with Finance.
• Provide cost and revenue visibility via standardized dashboards.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve forecast accuracy.
• Drive digitalization and AI workflows to improve efficiency.
