ING Nederland is seeking a seasoned Sourcing & Category Manager for Insurance, Marketing & Media to shape category strategies and lead global sourcing efforts. You will manage advertising, media buying, market research, insurance contracts, and related supplier services while aligning with ING's regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Global Category Lead, you will coordinate with procurement and business partners to unlock value, manage demand, and drive supplier innovation across multiple

Qualifications

• 6+ years in procurement, preferably strategic, at an international financial services provider.
• >5 years in Category experience for Marketing/Media and/or Insurance.
• Proven track record delivering Procurement Value.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders / offshore teams.

Responsabilités

• Execute strategic sourcing activities: define scope, sourcing approaches, complex negotiations, supplier selection.
• Build and manage supplier relationships; plan negotiation strategies and handle escalations.
• Coordinate buyers across geographies on RFX, contracting, and risk mitigation.
• Guide contract creation and finalization; partner with stakeholders on business objectives.
• Contribute to global category strategies and align local requirements where applicable.
• Provide SME guidance to business for Insurance, Marketing and Media categories.
