Job summary

ING Nederland is seeking a Sourcing and Category Expert Infrastructure Software to lead global sourcing and vendor strategies. You will drive execution across spend categories, manage critical contracts, and shape supplier plans with senior stakeholders.

You’ll work in a high-performance team reporting to the Global Category Lead for Infrastructure Software, influencing decisions at the highest level and delivering tangible value for the organization.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in strategic procurement at an international organisation.
• Experience leading negotiations with global vendors such as Microsoft, Broadcom, Oracle or IBM.
• Master English business communication; strong analytical and regulatory knowledge for finance procurement.

Responsibilities

• Identify business needs, category specs, and vendor requirements to shape vendor plans.
• Provide strategic insights for category plans based on portfolio developments.
• Lead high-impact negotiations with designated vendors and manage sourcing events.
• Define global and local sourcing needs, design events, and manage full RFX processes.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensure compliance and risk control.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in vendor relationships.
• Execute complex sourcing projects and advise senior stakeholders.
• Navigate multi-stakeholder landscapes to balance value, flexibility, and risk.
