Job summary

Mediq is seeking a Group Procurement Manager IT to lead strategic IT sourcing across Europe. You will own an IT procurement portfolio of about €30 million, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver commercial value while managing supplier risk.

You report to the Director Indirect Sourcing and collaborate with the CIO and regional IT leadership to align sourcing with technology roadmaps and business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in business, procurement, supply chain, finance, IT or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing with IT focus.
• Experience with enterprise software, SaaS, cloud/infrastructure and IT services procurement.
• Proven track record in high-value negotiations with measurable savings.
• Knowledge of software licensing, subscription models, contract lifecycle and governance.
• Experience negotiating data protection, information security, AI, liability, and vendor lock-in.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Group IT procurement strategies for software, cloud, infrastructure, hardware and services.
• Lead RFI/RFP processes, tenders and high-value negotiations with international IT suppliers.
• Challenge requirements and licensing models to find sustainable savings.
• Manage contract renewals, reduce supplier lock-in, and monitor compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Privacy and Security on sourcing decisions.
• Report on savings, cost avoidance and supplier performance.
