Job summary

Mediq is seeking a Head of Supply Chain Data & Analytics to shape and deliver an Operations Data & Analytics strategy across Europe. You will build the Group function, establish a trusted data foundation and harness analytics and AI to improve cost, productivity, service and working capital.

You will lead data ownership, governance and advanced analytics while collaborating with IT, Finance and S&OP to translate insights into real business actions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
• Experience moving a non-data-native organization towards a data-driven operating model.
• Strong expertise in data ownership, stewardship and governance as well as BI, advanced analytics and data science.

Responsibilities

• Shape strategy and build the Group Supply Chain Data & Analytics function from the ground up, including its operating model, team, capabilities and ways of working.
• Translate the Operations Data & Analytics strategy into a roadmap that establishes data foundations and scales analytics and applied AI.
• Recruit, develop and lead a specialist team across data engineering, BI, data science and business analysis.
• Own operational data from source systems into the Group data platform and establish clear data ownership and stewardship.
• Create one trusted definition for key operational metrics across European markets.
• Improve data quality at source and reduce manual reporting.
• Own the Group Operations KPI framework and drive transparency across cost, productivity, service and working capital.
• Establish driver-based performance management to identify gaps and turn insights into actions.
• Benchmark performance across markets and sites and close gaps to best-in-class.
• Translate analytical insights into business requirements for the Operations transformation roadmap, S&OP, IT and process design.
• Provide analytical basis for strategic capital, footprint and network decisions to leadership.
• Own the Operations Analytics & AI roadmap and prioritise use cases by value, readiness, scalability and adoption potential.
• Bridge to transformation initiatives, S&OP, technology and process design to deliver measurable improvements.
