Job summary

bol in Utrecht is looking for a Senior Category Manager IT to lead strategic procurement for core platforms and technology. You will partner with senior stakeholders in Product & Tech, shaping supplier strategies and managing a complex technology spend to drive innovation and value.

You will need 5+ years of technology procurement experience, a strong track record in negotiating high-value IT contracts, and the ability to translate roadmaps into commercial opportunities while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology procurement experience.
• Experience negotiating complex, high-value IT contracts.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and manage supplier portfolios.
• Strong understanding of software, security, network, data centre, hosting and infrastructure hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine procurement strategies across the core technology portfolio including cyber security, network, telecom, data centre, hosting and infrastructure hardware
• Lead complex negotiations with suppliers
• Advise leadership on procurement and supplier risks
• Identify innovation opportunities across the technology ecosystem
• Manage critical supplier relationships in collaboration with our vendor management team
• Create value through innovation, risk reduction and commercial optimisation
