Job summary

Mediq is seeking a Group Procurement Manager IT to lead strategic IT sourcing across Europe. You will own an IT procurement portfolio of about €30 million, covering software/SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, hardware, telecom and IT services, balancing value with risk across multiple markets.

You will shape sourcing roadmaps, negotiate high‑value contracts, and drive supplier relationships with IT leadership to deliver measurable savings and commercial value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, IT or related field.
• 7+ years in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing with IT category focus.
• Experience with enterprise software, SaaS, cloud/infrastructure procurement.
• Proven track record in high‑value negotiations and delivering savings.
• Knowledge of software licensing, contract lifecycle, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Group IT procurement strategies for software/SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, hardware, telecom and IT services.
• Lead RFI/RFP processes, tenders and complex negotiations with international IT suppliers.
• Challenge requirements and licensing models to identify sustainable savings and avoid lock‑in.
• Negotiate and manage complex IT contracts including data protection, security and continuity.
• Manage renewals, supplier relationships and cross‑country procurement governance.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Privacy and Information Security to align sourcing with risk needs.
• Monitor savings, cost avoidance, supplier performance and contract coverage.
