Job summary

Merit Medical Systems is seeking an HR Business Partner to be the operational HR partner for designated client groups (Commercial). You will lead HR projects end-to-end, analyze workforce data, and align people initiatives with business goals across the organization.

You will advise on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and change management, and support leaders and employees while traveling within the EMEA region as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years HR generalist experience with work council management and project management.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong analytical skills; experience analyzing HR data and presenting insights.
• Proficiency with HRIS (Workday) and Excel.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulatory compliance; ability to conduct investigations.
• Willingness to travel within EMEA as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR contact for designated client groups; build relationships with leaders and HR colleagues.
• Lead HR projects end-to-end using formal project management practices.
• Analyze workforce data and HR metrics; develop dashboards to inform decisions.
• Advise on workforce planning, organizational design, performance and change management.
• Represent the company in local work councils; coach leaders and employees.
• Design and deliver training and leadership development.
• Ensure legal compliance and partner with Legal as needed; maintain policy consistency.
• Support HRIS data integrity and collaborate with IT/Analytics.
