Job summary

citizenM is seeking a Groups & Meetings Specialist in Leiden. The role owns the sales and day-to-day organization of group and meeting business for all citizenM hotels, targeting revenue, pricing, and negotiations. You will collaborate with other specialists, coordinators, and sales/demand managers to optimize activities.

The position is permanent and full-time, based in Leiden with hybrid work (2–3 days in office). Shifts are PM, from 14:00 to 22:00, supporting the Leiden office.

Qualifications

• Group and/or meeting business experience.
• Customer-focused with strong negotiation skills.
• Bachelor degree required.
• Proactive attitude and initiative.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or another second language.

Responsibilities

• Accept and convert the right groups with decisive action.
• Serve as the main contact for group bookers across organizations and locations.
• Manage group blocks and meeting room bookings with all tools.
• Prepare and send group quotes following SLA.
• Collaborate with sales, demand, and revenue teams for pricing decisions.
• Pursue repeat business and build lasting client relationships.
• Handle projects and administrative tasks as needed.
• Assist coordinators with organizing tasks as required.
