Job summary

Vinted Group is seeking a Decision Scientist in Amsterdam to influence product strategy and safeguard a trusted marketplace. You will partner with product, engineering, and design to uncover strategic opportunities and quantify trade-offs between security and user experience.

You will define metrics, run A/B tests, and own KPIs for Account Verification while promoting analytical rigor within the DSA community. This role offers a hybrid work model and dedicated learning budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Decision Science or Data Analytics role.
• Strong analytical thinking with business impact focus.
• Proficient in SQL and Python or R.
• Experience with BI tools (Looker/Tableau/Power BI).
• Knowledge of A/B testing and regression analysis.
• Results-oriented with iterative processes.
• Strong communicator who can present to diverse audiences.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Drive data-informed decisions with product teams.
• Balance security controls and user experience.
• Define tracking, design A/B tests, and evaluate results.
• Own KPIs for Account Verification and investigate anomalies.
• Build and maintain self-service Looker dashboards.
• Contribute to DSA community and promote best practices.
