Job summary

Vinted is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Amsterdam to join the Trust & Safety Actioning team. You will develop production ML models to detect and prioritize harmful marketplace activity, build robust data pipelines, and collaborate with engineering teams to scale solutions across Europe.

You will drive best practices in model development, deployment, and monitoring, mentor colleagues, and contribute to a forward-looking roadmap.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data science, ML, statistics or computational mathematics.
• Hands-on ML experience with deploying models in production.
• Experience with agentic AI or LLM-powered workflows a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of production ML models at scale for harmful marketplace entities.
• Establish and refine data versioning and labeling pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Infrastructure and backend engineers to build scalable data pipelines.
• Influence the strategic roadmap for the Actioning team and mentor others.
