Vinted is seeking a Lead Decision Scientist in Security to shape the measurement, evaluation and decision frameworks guiding restrictions across the member journey. You will own the analytical backbone for restricting malicious activity and balance user friction with harm prevention.

• Proven analytical track record in Decision Science, Product Analytics, Econometrics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain decision frameworks for user restrictions based on risk and context.
• Quantify trade-offs between security measures and user onboarding experience.
• Lead cross‑team discovery on open questions across the user journey (e.g., bot patterns, account networks).
• Own the Security metric tree and guide target‑setting for product and business impact.
• Guide A/B testing and causal inference practices in complex environments.
• Mentor and lead embedded Decision Scientists and elevate data literacy across Security.
