AXA HOME Security is seeking a Category Manager to lead and expand a portfolio focusing on mechanical products and growth into smart offerings. You will manage two product managers located in Poland and the Netherlands, guiding product strategy, market insights, and profitability across both markets.

The role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of delivering portfolio growth in security or related tech industries.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product or portfolio management experience, focusing on mechanical and/or smart products.
• Proven track record of managing product portfolios and leading teams.
• Experience in home security, technology, or consumer electronics is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the current portfolio of mechanical products and develop strategies for expansion into smart products.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation.
• Define and execute product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands.
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers, ensuring collaboration and innovation.
• Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members, providing regular feedback and evaluations.
• Support the professional development of product managers, encouraging continuous learning and growth.
• Develop and implement market-specific strategies for Poland and the Netherlands, focusing on maximizing product penetration and profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers in both markets.
• Analyze competitive landscape and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Drive the transition from mechanical to smart products, identifying new technologies and opportunities for product enhancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, sales) to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Ensure products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Manage the portfolio’s budget, including forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Monitor financial performance and key metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
