Job summary

MSD Netherlands is seeking a Senior Method Transfer Specialist (Bioassays) for our Animal Health site in Boxmeer. You will spearhead strategic coordination and execution of analytical method transfers for large-molecule bioanalytical methods, ensuring robust performance and on-time batch releases.

This role requires collaboration with R&D, QC, and QA across sites in the EU/APAC network. You will serve as SME for LM bioanalytical methods, lead cross-functional workstreams, and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science or Master of Science in Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with large molecule QC methods (ELISA, PCR, cell culture, virus titration).
• Experience in GMP manufacturing, batch release, and QC timelines.
• Strong data analysis skills; familiarity with statistical software (Minitab, Aera).
• Proven cross-functional project leadership across multi-site organizations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate analytical method transfers and ensure robust transfer readiness.
• Lead complex, multi-site transfer workstreams and risk assessments.
• Provide SME guidance on bioanalytical methods during development and transfer phases.
• Collaborate with R&D, QC, and QA to align specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Support data-driven decision making and root-cause analysis.
