Job summary

Eurofins MicroSafe Laboratories in Leiden is seeking a Molecular Biology Analyst to perform a range of test methods on biopharmaceutical products, in a GMP environment. You will work with Molecular Analysts and QA, document results, and contribute to method transfer and validation.

You will use ELISA, PCR, FACS, SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, and monitor data quality, while maintaining lab equipment and adhering to strict quality standards. Fluent English and decent Dutch are required.

Qualifications

• MBO or HBO degree towards Molecular Biology, Life Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Virology, or a related field.
• Experience with ELISA, PCR, FACS, SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, pH, Osmolality, etc.
• Knowledge of GMP or GLP is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
• Flexibility and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent command English and reasonable command of Dutch.
• Located in the Netherlands with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of test methods, such as ELISA, PCR, FACS, SDS-PAGE andWestern Blotting.
• Collect, document, and analyze test data, and prepare corresponding test reports.
• Follow-up on quality incidents.
• Maintain the laboratory and handle related operational tasks.
• Actively participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to method transfer and method validation activities, in collaboration with a Study Manager.
• Support the implementation of new equipment and test methods.
