Job summary

Lilly in Katwijk, Netherlands, seeks a TS/MS Scientist to provide technical support for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, owning the process control strategy and related documentation.

You will lead improvement projects, participate in technology transfer, validate changes, and mentor fellow scientists while ensuring compliance with procedures and regulatory commitments. The role starts with a 12-month contract with potential permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, or Engineering.
• Five years in solid dosage manufacturing and/or spray dryer dispersion.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Ability to work irregular hours, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Process Flow Documents, tickets, instructions, BOM.
• Define and maintain the Process/Product Control Strategy and CPPs.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and product impact assessments.
• Train and mentor operators and fellow scientists on procedures.
• Lead deviation investigations and root cause analysis.
• Lead process improvement projects focused on productivity and quality.
• Evaluate change proposals and lead validation strategies.
