Job summary

Trinseo is seeking an Account Manager for Engineered Solutions & Polymer Solutions in Northwest Europe with responsibility for strategic accounts and a revenue goal around $50 million. You will manage complex international deals, coordinate with TS&D, Supply Chain and Product Management, and drive growth across key markets.

The role requires deep plastics industry knowledge, a strong commercial mindset, and the ability to travel extensively (approximately 50–60%).

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or a Business/Commercial degree with strong affinity for plastics and industrial markets.
• At least 10 years of experience in chemical/plastics industries.
• At least 5 years in a commercial or sales role; proven track record in account management, business development and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop assigned customer accounts to achieve sales, volume, margin and profitability targets.
• Act as primary commercial contact for customers and coordinate internal resources (TS&D, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Product Management, Logistics).
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders; develop account strategies and growth plans.
• Own the complete sales cycle including contracts, pricing, rebates, volume commitments, forecasting and credit management.
• Lead negotiations and ensure successful contract execution; provide accurate demand forecasts; maintain CRM data; report performance.
