Job summary

Trinseo in Utrecht seeks a Commercial Manager to drive profitable growth in the recycled plastics division, develop customer relationships, and lead commercial activities. The role focuses on securing long‑term supply and sales agreements, expanding market presence, and ensuring commercial alignment between procurement, operations, and customers.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience within plastics, recycling, packaging, polymers, or related industries.
• Proven track record in sales, business development, account management, and commercial negotiations.
• Network with recycled polymers market and experience with polymers such as PS/rPS, ABS/rABS, SAN, PC, PMMA or other recycle and sustainable material solutions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across recycled plastic markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with converters, compounders, manufacturers, traders, and brand owners.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, negotiations, contract management, and account development.
• Develop strategic partnerships that support long‑term business growth.
