Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacturing is advantageous.
• Aerospace background is a plus.

• Sales experience with Electronic SMT industrial equipment; able to negotiate with senior management.
• Fluent English; additional German/Spanish/French helpful.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and work independently or in teams.
• Willingness to work from home-office (Den Bosch area is advantageous).

For our ISD department in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Strategic Account Manager.

You are responsible for:

Responsible for creating, developing, and implementing Inspection Systems Division EMEA Strategic Account Strategy. Operating within a European and Global team, integrating our Distribution and Key Account strategy with OMRON Industrial Division to provide OMRON value manufacturing solution.

We are looking for a salesperson who can manage a certain amount of strategic Account customers, and partners especially in the Netherlands and Iberia, to develop new or existing accounts in relation with other European or Global factories and in coordination with other OMRON entities around the world and OMRON Inspection Systems Division in Japan. Customers will be mainly having manufacturing plants in Germany and/or Head-Quarter in Germany but can also be located elsewhere in Europe.

OMRON Inspection Systems Division (ISD) is a world leader of state-of-the-art 3D optical and X-ray inspection systems (SPI, AOI, AXI systems). These machines are used in the electronic manufacturing industry, mainly in automotive, medical, Aerospace, 5G, Generative-AI, Semicon and other quality driven industries. OMRON is an established manufacturer holding numerous patents in the inspection field for many years.

OMRON Inspection Systems Division is a part of OMRON Industrial Automation Business Division which can provide global solutions to our customers thanks to the biggest portfolio in the industry, including Robotics and Automation products.

Your responsibilities:

• Target and win new Strategic Account companies
• Expand business opportunities within existing Key and Strategic Account customers
• Recognise and develop Omron Value solutions within new and existing customers
• Visit customers before, during or after the purchase of the inspection machines
• Organize and support demonstrations of our value solutions with our Service and Support Team

Your Skills and Experience:

• Electronic Manufacturing Process background is useful, Good financial awareness
• Aerospace environment is an advantage
• Focused on profit/ revenue maximisation and achieving agreed standards and targets
• Sales experience in Electronic SMT Industrial Equipment required; Ability to negotiate at Senior Management level
• Fluent in English; Good communication skills (oral and written) in German and/or Spanish and/or French are a plus. Spoken language with ISD colleagues and most customers is English
• Able to work independently (for example at customer locations) and able to prioritize activities
• Team player; Flexible; working from home-office (Den Bosch (NL) area is an advantage)
• Willingness to travel (mostly inside Europe); Good intercultural awareness.
