Job summary

IR Search BV is seeking an Account Director in Amsterdam to lead strategic growth and own executive partnerships. You will bridge physics with global business strategy, reporting to the President of the European Office.

You bring 15+ years in semiconductors, a technical degree in engineering or physics, and ideally an MBA, with a global mindset and willingness to travel to client sites and HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Physics is essential.
• MBA is a preferred bonus for strategic leadership.
• 15+ years of commercial experience in the semiconductor field.
• Experience in Automotive or Data Center sectors is advantageous.
• Global/intercultural fluency bridging European and Asian markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term strategies to grow market share and secure high-stakes designs.
• Take full ownership of business operations and align internally to meet client needs.
• Navigate multi-million dollar negotiations and build high-level partnerships.
• Collaborate with teams in Amsterdam and maintain links with HQ in Asia and clients globally.
