Job summary

Desigual in Lelystad is seeking a Store Manager to oversee the point of sale, drive sales and manage a small store team while upholding brand standards. You will be responsible for daily operations, stock control, and ensuring a positive customer experience on the shop floor.

The role focuses on team leadership, operational efficiency, and achieving sales targets through effective coaching, product presentation, and adherence to head office guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as an (Assistant) Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: know, foresee, and satisfy customer needs and boost sales; manage refunds, layaways, and alterations.
• Team Management: anticipate needs, develop talent, train and motivate the team, schedule rotas and vacations, manage conflicts and working environment.
• Store Management: opening/closing, facility maintenance and shop cleanliness.
• Control stock loss and safety coordination.
• Management of POS: supervise exchanges, refunds and till incidences.
• Monitor and analyze KPI´s and inform/train team on KPI´s; set action plans to achieve sales goals.

Mission

As a Store Manager, you are managing the point of sale from the various perspectives including selling, product, turnover, and team management, in order to maximize returns of the point of sale and achieve sales goals. Other duties include monitoring product quality, stock optimization, brand image, as well as assuring the implementation of the procedures and guidelines established by head office.

Main Duties

• Customer Service: knowing, foreseeing, and satisfying customer´s needs, as well as boosting sales. Manage refunds, layaways, and alterations.
• Team Management: Anticipate your team´s needs, select and develop talent, training and motivating the team, organization and scheduling rotas, management of vacations and days off, management of core staff (resolving conflicts, working environment, etc.)
• Store Management: Opening and closing, facility maintenance and shop cleanliness
• Control stock loss and safety coordination
• Management of POS: supervision of exchanges, refunds and till incidences
• Monitor and analyze KPI´s, as well as informing and training your team on KPI´s. Monitor sales goals and establish action plans to ensure their achievement.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: 1-2 years as a (Assistant) Store Manager in a store with a similar turnover and comparable size of staff.
