Job summary

Diesel Store Batavia Stad in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a dynamic team and drive commercial performance. You will oversee staff, scheduling, store operations and ensure outstanding customer service in line with the Diesel brand.

Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will coordinate omni‑channel activities, optimise stock and merchandising, develop store strategy and nurture client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above.
• Previous Store Management experience, preferably from a luxury brand.
• English knowledge is a must.
• Strong leadership, autonomous and results-driven with excellent communication.
• Passion for the Brand and CRM awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales for each product category and clientele to meet financial objectives.
• Act as a brand ambassador and maintain VIP relationships.
• Coordinate staff shifts, coverage and floor presence.
• Manage omni-channel activities in line with guidelines.
• Plan stock levels and merchandising to reflect trends and demand.
• Coach staff performance and provide feedback.
• Implement VMD guidelines and ensure store presentation.

For one of our location in the European Outlet Network – Diesel Store Batavia Stad – we are currently looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic STORE MANAGER.

The role, directly reporting into the Retail Manager of the area, will be responsible to drive the business in order to succeed the company’s goal trough the management of a wide team and all the commercial aspects.

The candidate we are looking for will be responsible for achieving commercial targets through an effective organization of the team and a successful management of the product with a specific focus on leading the staff and sort out the managerial activities linked to sales and operational issues. He/she will be responsible for the coordination of the staff in terms of turns, rests, vacations, in order to ensure the proper floor coverage. He/she will be responsible to share the corporate strategies and procedures, to manage client relations and to anticipate and identify customers' needs. As Store Manager, he/she will play an important role in leading, creating the right culture, developing and inspiring the team to deliver outstanding customer service and to convey the proper image of our extra-ordinary brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and implement regular action plans in cooperation with Retail Manager, to develop sales for each product category and clientele and to achieve financial objectives.
• Be aware of local trading environment and its impact on sales.
• Act as a brand ambassador to strengthen relationship with VIP clientele.
• Ensure adequate client and prospect databases.
• Support and manage omni-channel activities (in store pick-up, etc.) ensuring the full compliance with corporate standard and guidelines.
• Meet inventory accuracy, review merchandise assortment on a regular basis. Plan and act to optimize stock level and stock mix to reflect sales, buying trends and customer demands. Comply with stock protection and maintain loss reduction standards.
• Coach the growth and development of the team in providing excellent and specialized customer service. Evaluates staff performance and provides them with feedback.
• Develop meaningful and loyal client relationships through personal connections and CRM initiatives as well as to ensure the application of OTB standards (Selling Ceremony, Visual guidelines, Grooming standards, procedures etc.).
• Streamlines the workflow and creates staff shifts.
• Ensures stores are properly cleaned and maintained (windows, furniture, lighting, etc.). Establishes and maintains a safety management system of the store facility, stocks, equipment.
• Plans and implements sales objectives on a daily and monthly basis.
• Sets up and maintains effective VMD based on the VMD guidelines.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree or above.
• Previous Store Management experience, preferaby from a luxury brand.
• English knowledge is a must.
• Strong leadership skills, able to work autonomously and results driven, and excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching and feedback skills. Evidence in managing big teams.
• Passion for the Brand.
• Digital awareness and interest, with an ability to comfortably navigate e-commerce sites.
