Job summary

Scheveningen restaurant is seeking a passionate sous-chef to join our beachside kitchen. You will lead and coach a dynamic team, shape daily operations with the chef, and ensure consistent quality and thoughtful presentation of each dish.

We value strong communication, a creative cooking mindset, and leadership under pressure. The role is on-site at a beautiful Scheveningen location, with weekends and public holidays requiring flexibility and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team.

• Experience as a chef in hospitality or similar environment.

We are looking for a sous-chef who has strong communication skills and can lead and coach his team to the best dishes. You will get a friendly, hard-working team that can handle pressure well. Together with the chef, you will go through the menu, guarantee the quality and presentation of dishes and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. And all this at a beautiful location on the beach of Scheveningen.

• Supporting the chef in the daily running of the kitchen
• Coordinating and managing the kitchen team
• Ensuring the quality and presentation of the dishes
• Thinking about the menu and new dishes
• Monitoring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
• Orders and inventory management
