Job summary

Rise Technical in Amsterdam is seeking an Engineer to join their high-growth team, leading pre-sales design, layout creation, and feasibility assessments for advanced high-power EV charging solutions in grid-constrained locations.

You will manage end-to-end project execution, coordinate with Dutch DSOs, EPCs, installers and vendors, and liaise between European field operations and global R&D, with international travel and an employee share ownership program.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a transferable engineering discipline.
• Background in EV charging, utility, renewable energy, industrial power, or grid-connected infra.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; right to work in the Netherlands.

Are you an engineer or technical infrastructure specialist looking to join a high-growth innovator solving a critical bottleneck electric vehicle charging?

Do you want an autonomous role, playing a key part in navigating Dutch grid connections, designing advanced high-power charging solutions, and scaling operations across Europe?

This fast-growing, pioneering organization specializes in high-power charging solutions in grid-constrained locations. To support their expanding European footprint, they are currently looking for an Engineer to join their team based in Amsterdam.

In this role you will act as the technical lead for pre-sales design, layout creation, and feasibility assessments while leading engagement with Dutch Distribution System Operators (netbeheerders). You will manage end-to-end project execution, bridge client requirements with internal operations, and serve as the technical link between European field operations and global R&D teams.

• Pre-sales technical consultation, concept designs, SLDs, and feasibility assessments

• Serving as the technical link between European field operations and their Global Head Office

The Person:

• Degree qualified in a transferable engineering discipline
• Background in EV charging, utility, renewable energy, industrial power, or grid-connected infrastructure or similar
• Fluent in both Dutch and English with the right to work in the Netherlands
