Job summary

Sceptr is seeking a Solutions Consultant based in the Netherlands (Utrecht) to enhance our pre-sales and service capacity within Managed Services. You will act as a trusted advisor to partners and customers, presenting solutions and driving Proof Of Concepts to revenue.

The role requires extensive networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, QoS, routing) and experience in enterprise environments, with fluency in Dutch and English. A hybrid work arrangement and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of networking concepts including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, QoS, routing and switching.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers in complex network environments is required.
• Experience in Network Performance Monitoring is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.

Join Our Dynamic Team as a Solutions Consultant!

Sceptr is seeking a skilled Solutions Consultant to enhance our pre-sales and service capacity and elevate our Managed Services. Based in our Utrecht office, you’ll be part of the Sceptr team, focusing on technical consultancy. We’re looking for a customer-focused, solution-driven professional with a keen analytical mind.

Your Role

• Build and maintain relationships with the Technical Presales community of our partners (remote and on-site);
• Work closely with the Sales Department to support new business development in the role of technical pre-sales.
• Be the trusted advisor for our partners and customers;
• Present our solution and new features of our software;
• Train technicians and demonstrate our capabilities;
• Drive Proof Of Concepts for our partners and customers and go to the max to convert this into revenue;
• Design the proposed solution to the partner;
• Deliver technical consultancy within the implementations;
• Use your knowledge about Networking, SD-WAN, SASE and monitoring to integrate these technologies into our software (Vendor agnostic);
• Work in large and complex enterprise and partner environments, both on-site and remotely;
• Be an advisor to the R&D department.

What you Bring

• Good industry and technical knowledge;
• An enormous amount of energy and enthusiasm and be a self-starter and ability to work with the sales and operations team;
• Ability to support enterprise customers complex network and application environments;
• Experience in the field of Network Performance Monitoring (preferred);
• Working experience with industry leading network devices including WAN, SD-WAN and SASE;
• Good knowledge of networking and understanding the concepts of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, QoS, Routing and switching.
• Excellent presentation skills;
• Good communications skills both verbal and written (Dutch and English);
• Minimum of 5-10 years working experience in role of technical (network) consultant or senior network engineer with consultancy skills;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
• You live in the Netherlands.
