Job summary

Adams Multilingual Recruitment is helping a global manufacturer of specialised industrial materials to recruit a Sales & Operations Manager. The role oversees a site of ~10 employees, coordinating Sales, Customer Service, QA, Production and Logistics to run operations smoothly and satisfy customers.

Based in the Netherlands, you will travel occasionally to visit customers and distributors. The position is 40 hours/week, on-site, with a fixed-term contract transitioning to permanent for the right

Qualifications

• Fluent English required (spoken and written).
• At least 10 years of sales experience.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Numerical and financial data handling skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily activities across Sales, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Production and Logistics.
• Ensure activities align with company goals and customer requirements.
• Set priorities and expectations for teams and individuals.
• Monitor KPIs for quality, delivery, service, productivity, sales and cost.
• Ensure cross-department communication and cooperation.
• Identify issues and bottlenecks and resolve promptly.
• Develop and implement process improvements.
• Oversee staffing, workload, training and performance management.
• Coordinate resources to meet demand and objectives.
• Assist budgeting, cost control, forecasting and resource planning.
• Report performance to the Managing Director.
• Contribute to short- and long-term business planning.
