Job summary

Hawaiian Poké Bowl in Almere is opening a brand-new location and seeks a Shift Leader to join the build-up team. Training begins soon, with some sessions outside Almere. You will lead student staff, ensure smooth workflows, and uphold quality in every bowl.

We offer a gross hourly wage of €15.67, a 38-hour contract, vacation days, and commuting allowance, plus growth opportunities toward management roles in a dynamic fast-food concept.

Qualifications

• Experience in a shiftleader or leadership role in hospitality or foodservice.
• Willing to be trained to become a shiftleader.
• 18+ years old with full-time availability.
• Knowledge of HACCP or willingness to learn safety standards.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.

Are you ready to give your career a boost? At Hawaiian | Poke Bowl, we're looking for a enthusiastic shiftleader! At the end of beginning of October, we're opening the doors of our brand-new Hawaiian Poke Bowl location in Almere, and we're building our team from the ground up.

Whether you already have experience as a shiftleader or you'd like to grow into a leadership role, we'll provide the right support and training to help you succeed.

We're looking for someone who can start ASAP, so we can begin training on time. Please note: training will take place outside Almere, so flexibility to travel during the first few weeks is a must.

What will you do?

Lead a team of student employees and ensure a positive, efficient workflow

Monitor quality and make sure every bowl is perfect

Help customers with their orders and provide top-level service

Manage opening and closing shifts and keep everything running smoothly

Get familiar with KPIs and learn how they help run the restaurant optimally

Who are you?

With experience? You've already worked as a shiftleader or in a leadership role within hospitality or foodservice. You know how to guide a team and enjoy running a smooth, organized shift.

No shiftleader experience? No problem! You already have work experience in hospitality or foodservice and are ready to take the next step. We'll train you to become a real shiftleader!

You're at least 18 years old and looking for a full-time job.

You know, or would like to learn, about safety and hygiene (HACCP).

Working flexible hours (evenings and weekends) is no problem for you.

You're customer-focused and can handle questions or complaints professionally.

You want to work in a dynamic team and grow within a fast-growing company!

You have a valid residence permit or work permit, and a BSN number.
