Job summary

Hawaiian in Almere is opening a brand-new location and hiring a shiftleader to build a team from the ground up. Training will occur off-site initially, with travel required during the first weeks. Start ASAP for timely onboarding and hands-on guidance in a fast-growing concept.

You will lead a team, monitor quality, assist customers, manage shifts, and learn KPIs to optimize operations. Growth paths include assistant manager and restaurant manager roles within the group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a shiftleader or leadership role within hospitality or foodservice is preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate to grow into shiftleader responsibilities.
• Must be 18+ and seeking a full-time role.
• Knowledge of safety and HACCP is desirable.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Valid residence/work permit and a BSN number are required.

Are you ready to give your career a boost? At Hawaiian | Poke Bowl, we're looking for an enthusiastic shiftleader! At the end of beginning of October, we're opening the doors of our brand-new Hawaiian Poke Bowl location in Almere, and we're building our team from the ground up.
Whether you already have experience as a shiftleader or you'd like to grow into a leadership role, we'll provide the right support and training to help you succeed.
We're looking for someone who can start ASAP, so we can begin training on time. Please note: training will take place outside Almere, so flexibility to travel during the first few weeks is a must.

What will you do?

• Lead a team of student employees and ensure a positive, efficient workflow
• Monitor quality and make sure every bowl is perfect
• Help customers with their orders and provide top-level service
• Manage opening and closing shifts and keep everything running smoothly
• Get familiar with KPIs and learn how they help run the restaurant optimally

Who are you?

• With experience? You've already worked as a shiftleader or in a leadership role within hospitality or foodservice. You know how to guide a team and enjoy running a smooth, organized shift.
• No shiftleader experience? No problem! You already have work experience in hospitality or foodservice and are ready to take the next step. We'll train you to become a real shiftleader!
• You're at least 18 years old and looking for a full-time job.
• You know, or would like to learn, about safety and hygiene (HACCP).
• Working flexible hours (evenings and weekends) is no problem for you.
• You're customer-focused and can handle questions or complaints professionally.
• You want to work in a dynamic team and grow within a fast-growing company!
• You have a valid residence permit or work permit, and a BSN number.
