Job summary

Empiric is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join an ITSM contract project in the Netherlands. You will design and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, working with stakeholders to ensure functionality aligns with business needs and contributing to platform best practices in an Agile team.

You will design workflows and integrations, support release processes, and help move changes from development to production while applying coding standards and modern development practices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building integrations and workflows in ServiceNow.
• Hands-on CMDB and APM experience.
• Experience with ITSM, SPM, IRM/SecOps and HRSD modules.
• Experience with TPRM or related risk management modules is a plus.
• ServiceNow CSA and CIS certifications.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with modern development practices (TDD/BDD/ATDD).

You will join a ServiceNow programme as a developer, designing and implementing solutions on the platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to make sure delivered functionality matches business needs, and you will contribute to platform best practice and roadmap discussions within an Agile team.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement workflows, integrations, notifications and flow automation on the ServiceNow platform.
• Work with stakeholders during implementations and provide technical input.
• Support release processes using Source Control, update sets and CI/CD pipelines.
• Make sure changes move smoothly from development through to production.
• Contribute to technical decisions and best practices based on your ServiceNow experience.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience building integrations and workflows in ServiceNow.
• Hands on experience with CMDB and APM.
• Experience across ITSM, SPM, IRM/SecOps and HRSD modules.
• Experience with TPRM (Third Party Risk Management).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) on relevant modules.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including TDD, BDD, ATDD, clean code, refactoring, pair programming and managing technical debt.
• Comfortable following coding standards and using AI coding assistants.
• Team player with a results focused approach, able to work in multicultural teams and share knowledge with colleagues.
