Job summary

Devoteam, an AI-driven tech consultancy with over 11,000 experts across 25 countries, is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Consultant in the Netherlands. You design, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions, applying best practices with hands-on delivery and mentoring junior teammates.

You translate business needs into scalable technical configurations, deliver documented customizations, and support upgrades. Fluent Dutch and English are required; CSA certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow configuration and development.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow administration, App Engine, and customization practices.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, business rules, script includes, and UI policies.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• ServiceNow CSA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions according to business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical configurations and detailed technical designs.
• Customize the platform when required, following ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
• Develop integrations with third‑party systems (REST, SOAP, file‑based transfers).
• Deliver well‑documented, thoroughly tested customizations, including unit testing and structured testing approaches.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on both technical and functional topics.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, or improvement opportunities within your scope of work.
• Support platform upgrades and ongoing application maintenance.

Job Description

As a ServiceNowTechnical Consultant at Devoteam, you design, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions that translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical configurations. You apply ServiceNow best practices to decide when to configure out-of-the-box and when tailored customization is required. Alongside hands‑on delivery, you mentor junior team members and proactively flag risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities within your scope of work.

Requirements / Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in ServiceNow configuration and development
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow administration, App Engine, and customization practices
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, business rules, script includes, and UI policies
• Proven experience in unit testing and awareness of structured testing approaches
• Comfortable with both "out-of-the-box" implementations and tailored customizations
• Fluent in Dutch andEnglish; strong communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required

• Familiarity with middleware integrations (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Kafka)
• Experience with AI on the ServiceNow platform (e.g. Now Assist, Control Tower) is a plus, provided it can be demonstrated with concrete examples
