Applied Medical’s European headquarters in Amersfoort (NL) is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator - Developer who partners with internal teams to translate needs into practical ServiceNow solutions. The role focuses on ITSM, workflows, catalog items, and data quality to improve user experience and enable continuous improvement.

You will support IT teams initially and gradually extend your impact across other departments, reporting to the Technical Lead, ServiceNow Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/HBO level education in Computer Science.
• 1+ years of ServiceNow System Administration experience.
• Certified ServiceNow Administrator (Implementation Specialist Certification a plus).
• Experience with ITSM processes and implementing ServiceNow processes and functions.
• Experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, Angular JS, Web Services, JavaScript).
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and co-create ServiceNow solutions such as flows, catalog items, and applications.
• Lead discussions to clarify requirements, explain options, and guide teams through practical decisions.
• Support quality and usability of ServiceNow data and services, including CMDB, catalog, and IT Asset Management.
• Maintain health of the ServiceNow environment, monitoring architecture, licenses, troubleshooting, and issues.
• Develop scalable ServiceNow solutions for IT and business needs, including integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server).
• Support and improve ITSM processes and ITIL best practices.

At Applied Medical’s European headquarters, we’re looking for a ServiceNow Administrator - Developer who will be a trusted partner for internal teams working with ServiceNow. Your role will be centered on interpreting stakeholder needs, explaining options clearly, and designing intuitive workflows and catalogue items that enhance the user experience and support continuous improvement. You’ll start by supporting our IT teams and ITSM functions and gradually expand your impact across departments.

This position is based in Amersfoort (Netherlands) and reports to the Technical Lead, ServiceNow Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and co-create ServiceNow solutions, such as flows, catalogue items, and applications
• Lead collaborative discussions to clarify requirements, explain available options, and guide teams through practical decision-making with clarity and empathy
• Support the quality and usability of ServiceNow data and services, including CMDB configuration items and relationships, data imports, the Service Catalog, Request Management, and IT Asset Management
• Maintain the overall health of the ServiceNow environment, including monitoring supporting architecture, overseeing license usage, troubleshooting, and resolving issues
• Develop scalable ServiceNow solutions for prioritized IT and business needs, using standard methodologies and patterns and supporting REST, SOAP, and MID Server integrations where needed
• Support and improve ITSM processes and ServiceNow functionality, identifying opportunities for continual improvement and applying ITIL best practices where appropriate

What You Bring

• Bachelors/HBO level education, preferably in Computer Science
• 1+ years of ServiceNow System Administration experience
• Certified ServiceNow Administrator (Implementation Specialist Certification a plus)
• Experience with ITSM processes and implementing ServiceNow processes and functions
• Experience with and developing with web technologies (XML, HTML, Angular JS, Web Services, JavaScript etc.)
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
