Job summary

INNOVATEST Group of Companies is seeking Service Engineers for our Maastricht headquarters. Qualifications

• MBO+ level (or equivalent) in electronics, mechatronics, or related field.
• Hands-on technical experience in electronics and/or fine mechanics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Structured and accurate in following procedures.
• Independent, reliable, proactive mindset.
• Good command of English; Dutch or German is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to learn and develop into a product specialist.
• Interest in international travel (future growth opportunity).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers and international sales partners.
• Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of high-tech electronic and precision mechanical equipment.
• Carry out calibration of hardness testers per ISO and ASTM standards.
• Support software and firmware updates.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.
• Ensure high quality, accuracy, and timely completion of service work.
• Prepare service reports, measurement reports, and calibration certificates.
• Communicate technical findings and repair requirements internally.

For our Dutch headquarters in Maastricht, we are looking for Service engineers.

The Role

We are looking for motivated and technically skilled Service Engineers who are eager to learn and grow within an international technology environment.

In this role of Service Engineer, you will start in our Maastricht headquarters, where you will be trained extensively to become a specialist in our hardness testing equipment. Initially, your focus will be on workshop-based repairs, calibration, and customer support.

As your experience develops, you will have the opportunity to expand your role internationally—supporting customers and partners worldwide with installations, training, maintenance, and on-site service.

Key Responsibilities
