Job summary

Innovatest Maastricht seeks enthusiastic (Junior / Senior) Software Engineers to join our R&D team. You will contribute to software for hardness testers, working with engineers across mechanics, electronics and software in an international high-tech setting.

We value a HBO in Software Engineering, interest in web technologies, and experience with web UIs and APIs. C/C++ knowledge is advantageous, and room for growth is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or comparable field.
• Interest or experience in web technologies (frontend, backend, APIs, data visualization).
• Experience building web-based user interfaces is advantageous.
• Knowledge of backend technologies is advantageous.
• Experience with C#, C, C++ is advantageous.
• Experience with software testing and version control.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, independence, and results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Our Maastricht facility is the Center of Excellence — the development department for mechanics, electronics, and software. To expand our software team, we are looking for enthusiastic:

(Junior / Senior) Software Engineers

As a member of our R&D department, you will contribute to the development of software for our technically innovative hardness testers. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of experienced engineers on projects where mechanics, electronics, and software come together.

We are looking for driven software engineers who enjoys working on technically challenging products and feels at home in an international high-tech environment.

What we expect from you

• A completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Software Engineering or a comparable field
• Interest or experience in web technologies (frontend, backend, APIs, and data visualization)
• Experience in developing web-based user interfaces is an advantage
• Knowledge of backend technologies is an advantage
• Experience with C#, C, C++ is an advantage
• Experience with software testing and version control
• Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, independence, and result-oriented mindset — both for immediate project goals and long-term development objectives
