Innovatest Shanghai in Maastricht is seeking motivated Service Engineers to join our Dutch headquarters. You will begin with extensive training on our hardness testing equipment and focus on workshop-based repairs, calibration, and customer support.

Qualifications

• MBO+ level (or equivalent) in electronics, mechatronics, or related field.
• Hands-on technical experience in electronics and/or fine mechanics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Structured and accurate in following procedures.
• Independent, reliable and proactive mindset.
• Fluent English; Dutch or German a plus.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a product specialist.
• Willingness to travel internationally (future growth).
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers and international sales partners.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain high‑tech electronic and precision mechanical equipment.
• Calibrate hardness testers according to ISO and ASTM standards.
• Support software and firmware updates.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Ensure high quality, accuracy and timely service work.
• Prepare service and calibration certificates and reports.
• Communicate repair findings and requirements internally.
