Job summary

Innovatest Shanghai Maastricht facility is seeking (Junior / Senior) Mechatronics Engineer to join the R&D team. You will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of technically innovative hardness testers, translating requirements into reliable mechatronic solutions and collaborating with engineers in mechanics, electronics, and software.

We expect a Bachelor HBO in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering and knowledge of drive technology, motors, sensors, actuators, and control

Qualifications

• Bachelor HBO in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering or comparable field
• Interest or experience in designing and developing mechatronic systems and precision equipment
• Knowledge of drive technology, motors, sensors, actuators, and control engineering
• Experience with 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks, is an advantage
• Knowledge of machine design, manufacturability, tolerances, and material selection is an advantage
• Experience in assembling, testing, and improving prototypes and in troubleshooting technical issues
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
• Strong communication skills, independence, and a result-oriented mindset, combined with a practical and accurate way of working

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve hardness testers and related mechatronic solutions
• Translate functional requirements into reliable mechanical, electronic, and software interactions
• Collaborate with mechanics, electronics, and software engineers
• Troubleshoot technical issues and refine prototypes

Our Maastricht facility is the Center of Excellence — the development department for mechanics, electronics, and software. To expand our multidisciplinary engineering team, we are looking for an enthusiastic:

(Junior / Senior) Mechatronica Engineer

As a member of our R&D department, you will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our technically innovative hardness testers. You will translate functional requirements into reliable mechatronic solutions and work closely with engineers in mechanics, electronics, and software.

We are looking for a driven mechatronics engineer who enjoys working on technically challenging products, combines an analytical mindset with a hands-on approach, and feels at home in an international high-tech environment.

What we expect from you

• A completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
• Interest or experience in designing and developing mechatronic systems and precision equipment
• Knowledge of drive technology, motors, sensors, actuators, and control engineering
