Job summary

ATG Europe, on behalf of ESA, seeks a Sentinel System Engineer for the Noordwijk, Netherlands site. The role focuses on coordinating technical status, supporting Operations Boards, and providing expert guidance on satellite performance and anomaly investigations.

The successful candidate will engage with ESA teams and industry partners, maintain technical documentation, and lead complex investigations to safeguard mission quality and satellite lifetime. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in satellite operations or spacecraft development.
• Strong ability to write technical notes and reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal & external support to ESA Space Segment Development Team and industry partners.
• Exchange technical status on flying and non-flying satellites; identify coordination issues and drive to closure.
• Support Operations Boards and respond to technical support requests from FOS or PDGS.
• Maintain on-call lists and provide timely technical advice on satellite performance.
