Job summary

HE Space in cooperation with CS Group and Sopra Steria seeks a Product Assurance & Safety Support Engineer in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. You will establish PA&S baselines, craft documentation, and monitor NCRs, anomalies and failures across ESA projects.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree in engineering and 10+ years in the space sector, including 5+ years in PA&S, with strong cross‑functional communication and willingness to travel within Europe.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in the space sector, including 5 years in Product and Quality Assurance.
• Experience with spacecraft unit QA activities is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication abilities; comfortable in a multinational team.

Responsibilities

• Support the establishment of PA&S requirements baseline across project elements per ESA policy.
• Review ESA contractor plans and PA&S efforts for projects/programmes.
• Monitor PA&S status, identify NCRs, anomalies and failures; track actions and reporting.
• Assist in assessing PA&S implementation by ESA contractors.
• Support boards for disposition of non-conformances and reviews; contribute to minutes and action follow-ups.
• Coordinate PA&S disciplines and assist with NRB/CCB meetings and project reviews.
• Provide PA support to project managers and PA managers; support dashboards and knowledge capture.
