Job summary

Terma Space Division, Noordwijk, Netherlands, invites a DevOps Engineer to support ESA operations. You will maintain high availability, embed security into delivery pipelines, and drive automated deployments across internal and third-party apps within the ESA environment.

You design and maintain CI/CD toolchains, monitor systems, manage incidents, backups and DR, and collaborate with third-party providers to ensure ESA standards are met. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in managing complex technology stacks including middleware.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools and incident management aligned to ITIL.
• Ability to coordinate with third-party providers and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end application and technology stack services, validating architectures and maintaining middleware components.
• Configure and support web, application and database servers, applying patches and security updates to ESA standards.
• Design, implement and maintain automated delivery toolchains for configuration management, source control and deployment.
• Monitor incidents and manage ticketing with defined SLAs and timely resolution.
• Oversee backup and disaster recovery procedures and restore testing to ensure service continuity.
• Perform root cause analysis, implement preventive improvements and coordinate with third parties.
• Provide second- and third-line expert support and maintain operational documentation.
