Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Tilburg, Netherlands, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead our warehouse operations for a Fashion & Retail client. You will guide and develop teams, drive performance, and contribute to the leadership team.

The role includes managing inbound/outbound/returns, maintaining safety and quality, and driving continuous improvement. English is essential; Dutch would be a plus, and you’ll collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

University degree / HBO qualification in a relevant field.
Experience in a similar operational leadership role in warehousing.
Experience managing large operational teams; strong leadership skills.
Fluent English; Dutch would be an advantage.
Solid knowledge of WMS systems and strong Excel skills.
Lean and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

Fully responsible for warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, returns, shipping, and maintenance.
Lead and develop operational teams to achieve KPIs and customer expectations.
Oversee the technical department for maintenance and repair planning.
Drive performance, continuous improvement and safety standards.
Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders on strategy and objectives.
Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Monitor key metrics and ensure high reliability of equipment and processes.
