Job summary

DeltaQuad in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Electrical & Avionics Engineer to own the electrical and avionics integrity of our UAV platforms. You will define and validate robust power architectures, interfaces and embedded hardware to stay safe during disturbances and faults.

This end-to-end role covers system architecture, schematics, PCB design, hardware bring-up, fault investigation, flight validation and controlled release, with hands-on testing and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or avionics.
• 5+ years in embedded electronics, UAVs or aerospace.
• Proven experience with hardware bring-up, validation and release.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC, power integrity and fault containment.

Responsibilities

• Define electrical architectures, power trees and load budgets.
• Design power distribution, monitoring and protection against faults.
• Design schematics and multilayer PCBs for power and avionics.
• Integrate batteries, flight controllers, sensors and embedded computers.
• Develop harnesses, connectors, pinouts and interface-control documentation.
• Integrate systems through CAN, UAVCAN, UART, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, USB and PPS.
