Job summary

DeltaQuad is seeking a Senior Electrical & Avionics Engineer to own the electrical and avionics integrity of our UAV platforms. You will define robust power architectures, interfaces and embedded hardware, ensuring safety during disturbances and faults.

This end-to-end role covers system architecture, schematic design, hardware bring-up, fault investigation, flight validation and controlled release.

Qualifications

• Specializes in embedded electronics and avionics for UAVs.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, validation and release processes.
• Knowledge of power architectures, grounding and protection.

Responsibilities

• Define electrical architectures, power trees and critical-load priorities.
• Design power distribution, monitoring and protection against faults.
• Create schematics and multilayer PCBs for power, avionics and sensors.
• Integrate batteries, flight controllers, sensors, payloads and embedded computers.
• Develop harnesses, connectors, pinouts and interface-control docs.
• Interface CAN, UAVCAN, UART, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, USB and PPS timing.
• Improve reliability via EMI/EMC mitigation and fault-injection testing.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform root-cause analysis.
• Plan lab, environmental, vibration, thermal and flight validation tests.
• Maintain schematics, BOMs and release procedures; support handover to production.
