Job summary

DeltaQuad in Amsterdam is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and prototype mechanical solutions for advanced UAV systems. You will integrate sensors and payloads while ensuring performance and reliability in demanding environments.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 3-8 years of relevant experience. The role involves hands-on assembly, testing, and provides opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in UAVs, aerospace, robotics, or advanced hardware.
• Hands-on experience with MJF, SLS, FDM, SLA additive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise mechanical components and RF structures.
• Develop 3D CAD models and assemblies.
• Translate real-world feedback into design iterations.
• Ensure aerodynamic efficiency and compliance across systems.

Skills

Proficiency in SolidWorks

Additive manufacturing experience

Knowledge of advanced materials

Structural analysis experience

Understanding of aerodynamics

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Design, or Mechatronics Engineering
