The challenge
As Senior Electrical Systems Engineer, you take technical ownership of the electrical architecture of advanced UAV/UAS platforms, driving robust integration from concept through validation and series production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and integrating electrical architectures covering power distribution, avionics, sensors, C2 and payload systems
- Designing and reviewing high‑reliability schematics and PCB solutions for production‑ready applications
- Driving EMC/EMI robustness, redundancy and fail‑operational concepts
- Supporting integration of RF communication links, antennas, GNSS and communication systems
- Leading verification, validation and acceptance testing activities
- Performing reliability and safety analyses including FMEA and FTA
- Contributing to certification readiness and scalable product development for operational deployment
Your profile
- We are looking for a hands‑on systems‑minded engineer who combines electrical depth with broad integration understanding. You bring:
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechatronics or similar
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical systems design within UAV/UAS, aerospace, robotics or other high‑reliability environments
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, battery/BMS systems and embedded interfaces
- Experience with EMC/EMI, safety‑critical design and verification methodologies
- Familiarity with RF integration, data links and communication systems
- Experience translating complex engineering challenges into robust production solutions
- A proactive, ownership‑driven mindset and strong multidisciplinary collaboration skills
