Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech Surgery team seeks a Senior Tender & Contracting Specialist to drive end-to-end contracting and tender lifecycle, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Operations to optimize commercial outcomes.

You will shape contracting processes, enable strategic negotiations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare, Supply Chain, Law, Procurement, or a related field.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (C2) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience as Tender Manager, Bid Manager, Proposal Manager, Contract Manager or similar.
• Strong analytical capabilities to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Stakeholder management and influencing skills in a matrix organisation.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with business systems and reports.
• Experience in MedTech/healthcare or regulated industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end tender, quotation, pricing, and contracting lifecycle.
• Develop high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive proposals.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Quality and Regulatory.
• Support offer development, discount analysis, contract implementation, and price activation.
• Provide data-driven recommendations on risks, opportunities, and performance.
• Analyze tender outcomes and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive digitalisation and process improvements across Commercial Operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and audit standards.
