Job summary
Finatal seeks a Senior Technology Controller/Technology Finance Business Partner to oversee budgets, forecasts and performance for a growing European SaaS business. This hands-on role partners with senior Technology leaders to challenge spend, optimize capacity and translate technology investment into commercial value.
You'll analyze R&D economics, run financial modelling, build business cases for major investments and track ROI from AI, automation and transformation initiatives, while driving
Qualifications
- Hands-on, high-impact role partnering with senior Technology leaders.
- Experience delivering measurable Technology cost or efficiency improvements.
- Strong understanding of R&D economics, capacity and software capitalization.
- Proven ability to build business cases for major Technology investments.
Responsibilities
- Owning Technology budgets, forecasts and performance
- Challenging Technology leadership on spend, capacity and investment decisions
- Analyzing R&D capacity, FTEs, utilization and external resources
- Building business cases for major Technology investments
- Identifying and delivering tangible cost and productivity improvements
- Tracking ROI and benefits from AI, automation and transformation initiatives
- Creating greater visibility around cost-to-serve and return on Technology investment
- Fluency in English
- Strong Technology Finance / IT Controlling background
- Experience within SaaS, software or IT services
- Strong understanding of R&D economics, capacity and software capitalization
- Proven experience delivering measurable Technology cost or efficiency improvements
