Job summary

Lever, Inc. on behalf of a partner company is seeking an Expert Stripe Freelance based in the Netherlands. The role focuses on auditing Stripe integrations and optimizing billing, 3DS2/SCA, across a portfolio of international SaaS products.

The engagement is fully remote, lasting 3–4 months, with high autonomy and direct collaboration with senior payment, technology, and product teams to drive measurable revenue and payment performance.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in payments with 5+ years.
• Multiple production Stripe integrations for recurring models.
• Experience with SaaS, B2C subscriptions or marketplaces.
• Deep knowledge of Stripe Billing, Checkout, Elements, Radar.
• Webhooks, 3DS2/SCA, Apple Pay and Google Pay experience.
• Strong autonomy and ability to deliver with minimal supervision.
• Fluent French and professional English.

Responsibilities

• Audit Stripe integrations and payment flows across SaaS products.
• Define and apply shared Stripe integration best practices.
• Optimize payment journeys and 3DS2/SCA flows.
• Improve authorization and renewal rates; payment conversion.
• Support risk, fraud prevention, and dispute management.
• Document processes and best practices.
• Transfer knowledge to internal teams.
• Deliver measurable outcomes within a short engagement.
