Lever, Inc. is seeking a Tech Lead for Payments and Billing based in the Netherlands. This role is a hands-on technical leadership position focusing on building scalable payments infrastructure for a fast-growing energy platform.

You will lead a Payments squad, drive reliability and cost efficiency, and shape the technical direction while actively coding and reviewing architecture and design. The role emphasizes ownership of delivery outcomes, architecture, coaching, and solving complex

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tech Lead or equivalent technical leader.
Strong track record of hands-on leadership including design documents and architecture decisions.
Ability to balance direct contribution with coaching of engineers.

Responsibilities

Own the overall delivery outcomes of the Payments squad and maintain high engineering standards.
Set technical and architectural direction for payments domain for future scale.
Write technical specifications and review PRs; contribute to implementation.
Solve complex technical problems with the team and maintain long-term vision.
Establish operating model and ways of working balancing speed, quality, resilience.
